I live in Tennessee now so I get the big test every year. What are some things I can do to help me pass the emissions tests?

1) make sure you have good oxy sensors
2.) make sure you have a functioning catalytic converter
3.) check ignition for fouled plugs, bad wires, plugs about ot go bad, etc...
thats all i can think of right now. Im in new york and we get the same test every year. now they computerized it so you can't cheat and doubled the price...bastards...

I don't kow if it applies to your year but my '84 went from failing to passing well by replacing the pcv valve and the little crankcase inlet filter inside the aircleaner.

Well I'm worried about this thing so I replaced the PCV and air filter. I'm getting a new high flow cat and cat-back dual. I'm changing the O2 sensor also.
