Everytime that it gets hot outside and I have been running my truck for a while, especially in city traffic, the clutch gets real sticky and has a hard time engaging. works just great in the cooler weather, just when it gets hot outside. Any thoughts on where I should start looking?

how many miles are on the vehicle and has the clutch ever been changed?

yes I have, It is just fine, right up to the filler plug, just like it is supposed to be. Do I have to change clutch fluid? if so, How?

Well, the od says 141k so I would assume that it has been changed(clutch), at least once, I got it at 120k. But I have not changed it yet...

fluid breaks down at high temps, i've got 96,000 on mine and i'm starting to notice in the 95 degree heat that the pedal is much softer especially if i use the breaks... alot.

i'd suspect that if you changed the brake fluid, flushed it and the clutch fluid which might be shared???? that will go a long way to help our condition, yours more specifically.

Also check around and see if there are any fluid leaks at the back of the engine or bellhousing area. A rear main seal going out could throw oil onto the clutch surface or antifreeze could drip down from above and coat the clutch surface during extended temp usage.
