Ok I took a look at my dash and removed the bulbs. I can't remove the bulbs from the plastic that holds the bulbs in place to conectect to the dash. How can i remove the bulbs from the plastic holder so I don't crack the bulbs? I am changing my whole dash to LED lights. your info will be very helpful. thanks

Hey dude Im not sure which bulbs you are talking about ( Maybe the one that are down by you feet) if thats the case gets some needle nose plyers and gentley grab the base of the bulb and giggle it slightly and it should come right out. (remember go easy on the bulb You dont want to break the bulb, then its a pain in the @ss to get out.) this techniqe might work with other bulbs to. hope that helps.

Hey ive converted my whole dash and ac panel to blue leds.
1. first decide on a color and by atleast 50 leds and resiters. www.oznium.com
2. pull out the guage panel and other stuff.
3. remove the bulbs by squeezing and pulling out the holders
4. take a pair of tweezers and breaking the wires from the bulbs
5. after the bulb comes out, take a drill and drill out the hole bigger.
6. take your led leads and stick them out the newly drilled holes. fold the leads back over and place them under the terminal conectors on the long lead solder a resitor and take the other end of the resistor to the other connector.
DO NOT test the leds without a resistor or i hope you have a high tolerence for pain. I took a few peices of flaming plastic peices to the arm.
