MyS10 Gathering?

Years ago, when i was facinated with Pontiac Fieros, the National Fiero HQ had yearly meetings/huge car shows, with only Fieros and nothing else, cept for that one fellow that brought his real Ferrari F40, I have pics!!! It might just be me, but I think it would be cool if we all meet up somewhere, (if we could), and have a yearly meeting/ huge show? A motorcycle club I belong too, has get-togethers several times a year, all over the US, not that I have a bike anymore though... Well, anyone, it's just a thought?

this notion was tossed around long ago. it was even tossed around at other enthusiast sites to no avail. perhaps in the future we can have unofficial or small type gathering...the problem is...where and how many would be willing and able to make it out.

when we get more members why don't you guys poll on it...

I would love to have most of my mods done, if we were to do this? If everyone couldn't go, the ones of us that live kinda close to one another should meet up sometime?

we would need a much larger member base..then you guys could talk and see about having a small unofficial meet or cruise. we are all scattered all over north america, east coast, west coast, the south, central plains, canada. after a while we can do one of those where are you from posts...then if you find someone in your state you gotself a fellow s-dime buddy...

well nick..... we could get one in ct..... i do know alot of people with s10. even if we did an unoffical one and met up at a mall or something. just to see how it went. if you guys are like me, when i see other s10's and get to talkin, for hours if ther enough of them. (i would have to leave the girlfriend at home!! lol) give me a time and place id be there :cool:

Well I would love to meet everyone that has an S-10, but I do understand where yall are coming from. Some people live so far away, and to get funds to have one big meet would be almost to hard to do!!! So the idea of having small ones in the state you live in is a great idea... and if anything down the road have like an east coast, west coast, midwest, etc. shows down the road... But I know of one guy that is on here that lives in Va where I do. Is there any more out there??? Me and Gerald are in Va. Beach area... So if any of yall that are close wanna plan something lets try to do it... And see what happens... Reguardless of your trucks mods or not, just a social to meet new people and get ideas!!! love the idea. but lets face it with everybody everywhere, it would be very difficult to pull off. if we were to do this i think missouri would be the place. its central and most of us are midwest. also i dont feel like driving 8 hours. hehe :D

mcomeau man i dont think ive seen your truck around...im down the berlin turnpike every weekend fri and sat nights...there probably 5-10 s10's and a couple of lowered and bagged tacomas and druangos ans stuff...alotta times there at the burger king or the dunkin dountus hangin out with the fellow truckers....come on down some time im sure youll see me lol the only lowered purple sonoma around

Well, I didn't mean everyone on here, would go to this one big meet... Just if we had a location, and maybe a fri-sun show thingy, and only those who could make it, would go. It's very hard to set up, I know, I used to help out the Fiero people do it and it was very, very difficult.... But, hey, it was just a thought??? :cool:

Also, when I had a motorcycle, we would have a southeast meeting twice a year. It was usually in VA, GA, or WV. It was awesome too, but then again, now that traveling is so outrageous, I doubt I'll ever go out of state much anymore... :(

I am game for Weathersfield. I am in that area all the time. Unfortunately my truck is laid up right now with an engine swap.

But us New England Dimers should get together we are all really close to each other. We have no excuse because we are all with in like 2-3 hours of each other. That is not a bad drive.

I live in Wallingford. I got myself a sweet dark blue metallic first gen. reg. cab, short bed street truck. It is soon to be the fastest 2.8 around. I don't frequent the pike, but if you go to Central or have been there last year you might have seen me or at least heard me setting off car alarms in the parking garage with my exhaust.

Nick, You Prob. Haven't Seen My Truck. I Have Only Had The Xtreme For About 6 Months, And I Work Alot. I Had An 89 S10 For The Longest Time.... That One Is My Baby,( That I'll Never Drive Again :( ) She's Retired. But Anyways..... If We Were To Even Do A Meet At Berlin We Should Plan A Day In The Spring... That Would Give Everyone Time, To Do Thier Finishing Touches. :)
