is it possible to push start a car/truck manual tranny with eletronic multiport fuel injection?

i push started my 95 sonoma 2.2 a few times....works well

I had my friends push start my truck when my starter went out. It is extremely effective on the v6 and led to some fun in an icy parking lot...muwahahahaha!!!

P.S. Get up to about 10mph, pop the clutch, wait a sec before hitting the gas

The only time it'll fail is if the ECM has less than 10 volts to play with!! ECM goes brain dead and it'll either not start at all, or start like a pig!

It works on 2000 2.2 li.
