Hey guys and gals I have a 98 Blazer. For the last couple weeks when I park my truck I have a antifreeze puddle underneath it. It only happens like once a week or so. Or I only notice it once a week. I checked the levels and they were down a bit but not way down. I did a quick check of the hoses and didn't see any wear or splits. I'm gonna get underneath is this week and look around. Any ideas what might be causing it? Anything I should look for while I'm under it? Thanks in advance! :D

when underneath ur truck look at the bottom of the water pump. There should be a little hole. See if its leaking out from under there.

and if it is? Good, bad or otherwise. Does that mean the pump is going bad?

Any time you see coolant seeping out of the upper or lower weep holes it is a bad sign. It means the waterpump seal is leaking and the waterpump will have to be replaced. If the leak is in the middle of the block it could be leaking freeze plugs in the engine block. Also check clamps and hoses for leaking or dampness. Might be a good time for a new thermostat and coolant if you have to take it apart. Good luck with it! :)
