I jumped in my truck at 5:45 and started her up and turned on the windshield vent to heat up the truck, much to my supprise there was none. Half way to work I tried again, no luck. My temp control switch doesn't seem to switch the flap in vent from cool to warm. Switch or the vent? what do you think.

Cold?
Come one now, what was it 60 this morning down there?
It was around 60 here this morning and it was a change but I wouldn't call it cold, think about them suckers up north where it's going to be snowing and icy soon, ha ha ha.
Sounds like a vacuum problem keeping the flap from moving.

Mike, you know how cold it can get when you have sunburn in mid October.:o
I'm moving up to TN in a about 6 months and would like to stay warm. If I had more than a t-shirt it would have made a difference in how I felt. COLD!:D

Oh come on now snow and ice are not that bad. Just gotta invest in a good pair of snow tires. I bought Firestone Winterforces and studded the two back ones, who can say "SNOW SLINGERS!?" Haha those tires are awesome, but loud :( . anyway you can always warm up really easy but its a bitch to try and cool down

That is true, we took the dog to the beach yesterday and I did get a little sun, so it does make it seem colder, we actually was able to turn the a/c of in the house and opened some windows.

smokin chevy sounds like we got the same set up firestones in the front and snow studs in the rear. i'm just hopin we don't get dumped on again like we did last year, i wasn't even able to drive my truck after i snowblowed the rest of the drive way i had to dig and rock my way out.

yup i do have 2 unstudded firestone in the front and 2 studded ones in the back. I'm with ya on the snow sentiment, I really hate driving in a blizzard and then I just have to dig out of it when I get home (grrrrrr) only to get stuck anyway. Oh well, the hazards of living in the northeast :)
