my driver window goes down, but sometimes it won't go up. sometimes i can open and slam door and that works. it is a power window, does any one know what the deal is? bad switch, motor?
Probably the motor if vibration is helping it work. The switch has to be somewhat good because you said it does work sometimes. I'd only change the switch as a last resort (if a new motor doesn't solve it).

something else to do is silicone spray the heck out of the trackes front and back and also the track inside it moves on and all pivot points ...
then do it again in a few days ... worked wonders on my pass side window.

What does the silicon do?

it will lubricate the tracks up and allow it to slide much easier ... (silicone lubricant ... not sealer ... lol)
I had some problems with my pass one ... when I got the truck painted, I sprayed all the tracks and sliders really good one week and worked the window up and down ... then did the same thing the following weekend.
no problems since.
