My grandmother recently left for a month long tour of China. While in Tibet, she caught pnemonia. The hospital in Tibet did not feed her for three days because in China it is the familys job to feed the ill, Kind of hard when we are literally half way around the world. Some village children that help out at the hospital apparently brought her fruits. Finally the charter company moved her to a very nice hospital in Lahsa. They now will not release her to come back to America because they say she will require oxygen to fly back...which you can not do in a pressurized cabin. And we have to send an American nurse to fly back with her when she is released. Is it just me or would you rather not travel to China any time soon.
