uh...find someone else with the same truck and take a picture of their guages with the truck off. thats about the best way to set it...as far as the fuel guage i would fill up to full and then set your guage

ok heres what ya do. start your truck and let it run for like 15 min...then set your temp gauge at the normal/middle . same with oil pressure, battery volt, tach should be right at 1k. fuel should be filled up then set it at full and the speedo you have to just have a steady hand and not move the pin when ya put it on at 0mph. that should get ya close...dont worry about exact because gauges arnt exact anyway everyone of them are a bit off here or there.

the problem is
1 the speedometer jumps and doesnt climb at a steady pace.
2 the rest of the gauges (no tach) dont seem to fall when i turn truck off. (like when you turn key to on position and they fly to their spot just opposite)
3the speedometer seems about 20 mph off.
4 i put them back on the regular gauge face and they all seem fine except the speedometer

i had to fix a set for a kid that did that before...problem was that the needle part that right where you connect it to was pushed on to far and was dragging on the face of the gauge...ya might check that

yeah watch out for the needle, they shouldnt be pushed in too far. fill up your gas tank to full and set that gauge alil past the F. my battery gauge normally sits mid point at 14volts. my engine temp sits at the quarter hash but i have a 180 thermastat with Efan. drive behind a friend at 25mph and then set the needle for the speedo. you should be set after that
