im thinking of getting some headers...does anyone know a good brand and how much im looking at to spend with install...and how many horse power will i gain...

Well we would have to know the year, model and engine size of your truck before we can give you good advice on what headers would be best for your truck.

yess thay make a header for the 2.2 I have a kamikaze header on my 2.2 it cost me $350.00 for ceramic coated header and i put them on myself the only problem i ahd was i had to modify my oil fil tube(had to bend it alittle) go to www.kamikazeperformance.com that is where i got mine from.

it seems that by itself this not worth the price i wonder if it would show a diffrence in tourqe or m.p.g. ?

Looking at my sons 98 Sonoma, I dont think I'd bother with a header. Its 4 into 1 now similar to a header so not much to gain. If it was more like a normal exhaust mani, maybe!!

well im not really for the power..i want a better sound...would it make my sound deeper???

No , Headers have nothing to do with Loudness. Only if it has a normal mani, then it will add a seperation tone to each pulse, but thats it. Noise quality etc is controlled by the muffler type!
