Jet or Hypertech programmers
What's up mys10.com? I have a 03 Sonoma with a 4.3 V6, and i had a question about programmers. I already have a Flowmaster dual exhaust, poweraid throttle body spacer, and a K&N filtercharger. I plan on getting a Airaid intake before winter really kicks in. Now, my question is which programmer delivers better performance? Which one will give me more control over my shift points, and give me the most mileage when I remove my top speed limiiter? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance guys?
P.S. I'm looking to make my truck into a drag racing truck

First off, ditch the TB spacer...it's worthless. Well not worthless, it'll make a neat paper weight. Second, if you just want a little more performance and firm up some shifts (raising your shift points will yield no performance gains) I would get a mail order tune instead of spending the cash on a "programmer". Third, removing your speed limiter will give you NO gain in MPG. Forth, if you want to make power out of your 4.3L you'll need much more then what you have and what your planning.
Hope that helps.

What rob said, and i would suggest a Wait4me Performance tune, I got one on my 2002 and it was the single best mod i HAVE ever done.
Here is a link to a GREAT thread with lots of info about Wait4me.

Alright, thanks guys. i kind of figured that the tb spacer didn't really do nothing. I'll check the wait4me out.
