envoy headlight conversion
well I won a auction on ebay set of envoy headlights (buckets bulbs ballasts & trays) and was wondering if anyone knew the correct code for the headlight wiring harness(or will one from the Jimmy or Blazer work?)......I want one with the outside air temp sensor with it for the overhead console as well

If you find anything with that air temp sensor let me know, I too have an overhead console from a Blazer and would like to get the temp and compass working.
I'll be watching this thread closely if you post pics on the conversion. I've been long wanting to convert my headlight assembly to that of a newer 98+ Sonoma, so the procedure should be the same as an Envoy.

If you already have a working overhead console can the lights be installed without rewiring the temp sensor and compass?

The stock pigtails plug straight into the ballast and the igniters then plug back into the ballast. It's pretty straightforward and doesn't take any time at all. The mounting brackets are different than stock sonoma's also.
